Ivonne Herrera, M.D.
Founder of Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center in 2003
Dr. Herrera is board certified in Rheumatology and has been involved in research. She also provides lectures to other physicians at regional symposia, and at area hospitals, as well as conducts community seminars on arthritis and rheumatic diseases. She is an active Board Member of the Rheumatology Society of Delaware and founder of the Osteoporosis Education Program at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Dr. Herrera is active in patient care.

Shubha Kollampare, M.D.
Shubha Kollampare, M.D., completed her fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson in 2018. She completed a six-year medical program at the Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. She also completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona where she served as a Chief Resident. She was named Resident of the Year in the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in 2015. Dr. Kollampare is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Karnataka Medical Association.
Dr. Kollampare will be joining our office October 1, 2018 and will be accepting new patients.
Sarah Fisher, P.A.
Joined the Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center in 2015
Sarah Fisher graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a degree in Physician Assistant Sciences in 2006. She worked as a certified nursing assistant one the orthopedic floor at PRMC. After graduating, she worked as an Internal Medicine PA for nine years in Salisbury, MD. Sarah also enjoyed being adjunct faculty at the PA program at UMES for several years. At UMES she taught student clinical procedures and physical diagnosis. Sarah is NCCPA certified and is licensed in Maryland and Delaware. Sarah has completed Advanced Rheumatology courses through the American College of Rheumatology. Sarah has also completed courses in diagnostic and procedural musculoskeletal ultrasounds at NYU. Her interests are in ultrasound diagnosis of Rheumatology disorders, ultrasound guided injections, and Rheumatology diseases.

Leah Higgins graduated from Marywood University with a degree in Physician Assistant Sciences in 2001. She previously worked as a physical therapy Assistant after graduating Penn State University with an Associate Degree in science as a physical therapy assistant in 1992. After graduating Marywood University she worked in Physical Medicine and Rehab for 9 years, occupational Health for 3 years and Pain Management for 3 1/2 years. She also works part time in an immediate care walk in clinic. Leah is NCCPA certified and licensed in both Delaware and Maryland. Leah has completed Advanced Rheumatology courses through the American College of Rheumatology. Leah also completed course in diagnostic and procedural Ultrasound at NYU. Her interest are in diagnosis and treatment of Rheumatology diseases, as well as therapeutic injections.

Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center (AOC) located in Seaford, Delaware has been seeking a second partner for full-time 100% clinical rheumatology practice since April 2017. AOC is a busy, well-established practice with an in-house infusion center. Compensation package includes salary, production incentive and comprehensive benefits. The area has excellent schools and outdoor activities including hiking, biking, sailing and others. Seaford is located 40 minutes from the Beach and several popular touristic beach towns.
